With several years of tourism industry experience at the community, regional, and international
level, Carlo Chancelien has had the great fortune to work for some of the world’s top tourism
and hospitality companies, like and ALICE Platform.

Carlo has nearly a decade of Hospitality and Marketing expertise. Prior to joining ALICE as
Director of Sales for LATAM, he worked at for five years, first as a Regional
Account Manager, where he oversaw 400 accommodation partnerships across the Caribbean;
and then as a Vacation Rentals Partner Manager, where he directed commercial relationships
with Property Management and Vacation Rental companies.

The responsibilities and challenges equips Mr. Chancelien with the knowledge and character
traits needed to be innovative in finding customized tourism solutions outside of one-size-fits-alltrends. In his current position at ALICE, Carlo is responsible for spearheading market expansion in the Caribbean and Latin America and helping hotels enhance their operations and communication, through a top-notch hotels operations software.

In addition to his success within his previous and current positions, Mr. Chancelien founded Le
Jetsetter, a Tourism and Hospitality consulting firm. Le Jetsetter lends boutique hotels and
travel companies, expert consultation for marketing and branding their product to a larger
audience. As a professional who is an avid traveler and strong advocate for greater synergies
between travelers and the tourism and hospitality industries, Mr. Chancelien has created this
platform to share key information that’s vital to the success of diverse markets that have a
unique product to offer. Mr. Chancelien has a degree in Business Administration from Pontificia
Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and a Certification in Revenue Management
for hotels from E-Cornell Tourism School.
