As a part of the global travel community, we’ve been following recent news of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) carefully, and act accordingly to keep you informed on the latest changes. Our thoughts are with all those affected directly or indirectly. We’re working closely with our vendors and local partners in Haiti to lessen the disruption to their livelihoods.

We also recognize the increased uncertainty that COVID-19 may be causing in your travel plans. To help you book with confidence, we are offering an exceptional cancellation policy: until the situation has stabilized, we will be extending the option of a 100% refund on all new bookings starting March 21st.

Another extraordinary and unprecedented step we are taking is to help create a “Tourism Recovery Fund.” For every ticket sold, $50 will go to this fund to help eligible small businesses in the travel and tourism sector, and Tourism & Hospitality students. Parallelly, The TIS team will continue to work with local organizations and the Haitian government on a broader marketing and PR plan to help bring jobs back in the tourism sector post-COVID-19.
